- Internet Movie Database
- In depth coverage of movies. This site allows you to search by title, year, actor, and other categories. Great for trivia buffs or for that elusive question, "Who played X in Y?"
- The Old Farmer's Almanac
- Online version of the Farmer's Almanac. Cool tool: under weather, you can see what the weather was in a particular location on a particular day back to 1994.

- Calculate exchange rates for more than 200 currencies.

- Consumer Price Index
- From the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. You can calculate the equivilent prices from 1913 through 2003, or clink on links for tables showing the CPI from 1913 to the present.
